Ruth Emanikor

Ruth Emanikor is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya as such in the name and style of M/s Emanikor & Company Advocate based in Lodwar Town, within Turkana County. She graduated from Moi University in 2003 with Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in the year 2005 and is currently pursuing her postgraduate studies in LLM Oil, Gas and Mining Law DL at Nottingham Trent University (UK).  Ms. Emanikor was, before establishing her own law firm working with various local, national and international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) on Human Rights activities in Indigenous Communities and has also worked with a number of Constitutional Commissions in Kenya such as the Commission on Administrative Justice/Office of the Ombudsman and the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC). She serves as Director (Partnerships & Resource Mobilization) at Article 43.
