Our Programmes

Underlying all of Article 43’s work is building partnerships among young people – one of our organization’s strongest competencies. Each programme is grounded in a coalition of youth and youth organisations, as well as partners from local and central government, civil society, traditional and religious leaders, among others. More than 20,000 young people and women in 7 sub-counties in Turkana County are set to benefit from our theme-specific programmes in Youth & Women Empowerment, Natural Resource & Climate Change and Good Governance & Advocacy. Our programmes not only strengthen but also expand the impact of youth-led ventures in fields such as climate change, education, healthcare, social inclusion, and environmental protection among others. From training youth and women on leadership to leading efforts to increase civic participation in governance in Turkana County to putting up a state of the art library and learning centre to empower thousands of students in Turkana County, our programmes and interventions will impact positively on our community.
